Updated October 2026
The ZLINE SGR is the all-gas range in ZLINE's Paramount series, available in 30-, 36- and 48-inch widths. Every size pairs a gas cooktop, which includes a 20,000 BTU dual-function burner that turns down to an 800 BTU simmer, with a 22,000 BTU convection gas oven. The SGR replaced ZLINE's first-generation RG Professional gas range, so if you're researching an older RG30 or RG36, the SGR is the current equivalent.
We first reviewed this line when the 30- and 36-inch models launched. The 48-inch double-oven SGR48 has since joined them. Here's our updated look at the specs, features, finishes and warranty, plus what to plan for before you buy.

The 30-Inch SGR30

The ZLINE SGR30 has four burners: two 9,000 BTU burners in the back, a 15,000 BTU burner front left, and the 20,000 BTU dual-function burner front right. That last burner covers both ends of the dial, from a gentle 800 BTU simmer for sauces to a full 20,000 BTU for searing and fast boils. Below sits a 4.2 cu. ft. convection gas oven that fits pans up to 20 inches wide.
The 36-Inch SGR36

The ZLINE SGR36 steps up to six burners: a 6,000 BTU auxiliary burner for delicate simmering, two 9,000 BTU burners, a 12,000 BTU burner, a 15,000 BTU burner and the 20,000 BTU dual-function burner, for 71,000 BTU in total. Its 5.2 cu. ft. oven fits pans up to 26 inches wide, which is enough room for a large roasting pan or two sheet pans side by side.
The 48-Inch SGR48

The ZLINE SGR48 is built for big households and entertainers. It has eight burners, including two 20,000 BTU dual-function burners, for 94,000 BTU in total. Two ovens add up to 6.7 cu. ft.: a 4.2 cu. ft. convection oven (22,000 BTU) and a 2.5 cu. ft. bake oven (14,000 BTU) for side dishes and desserts. A reversible cast-iron griddle with grill and flat sides is included.

- Horizon oven door with a large viewing window, triple-layer glass and an aluminum mesh seal for heat retention.
- StayPut oven door hinges that hold the door in place while you baste or check a roast.

Other Ranges in the Paramount Family
If the SGR is close but not quite right, the Paramount series also includes a dual fuel range (gas cooktop with an electric convection oven), DuoPro™ versions with dual-ring brass burners in every position, and Paramount induction ranges. You can compare them alongside ZLINE's Legacy, Classic and Marino series in our ZLINE ranges collection.
What to Plan Before You Buy
Ventilation
A good rule of thumb is about 100 CFM of hood capacity for every 10,000 BTU of gas cooktop output. That works out to roughly 530 CFM for the SGR30, 710 CFM for the SGR36 and 940 CFM for the SGR48. Choose a hood at least as wide as the range, and one size wider if you can. Above about 400 CFM, many local codes require make-up air, so check with your installer. Our guide Which ZLINE Wall Range Hood Is Right for You? and our ZLINE range hood collection will help you match one.
Gas supply and installation
Confirm your gas type (natural gas or propane) and that your supply line can handle the range's total output, especially for the 48-inch model. ZLINE recommends professional installation for all of its ranges.
Gas oven vs. dual fuel
An all-gas oven gives you moist heat that many cooks like for roasts and breads. If you bake a lot and prefer the drier, steadier heat of an electric oven, look at a dual fuel range instead. Our guide How to Choose the Perfect Stove covers the trade-offs.
Warranty
ZLINE ranges carry ZLINE's official coverage: 1 Year Parts and Service — Limited Lifetime Warranty on Gas Burners. Keep your proof of purchase and the range's serial number for any claim.
Value: Is the ZLINE SGR Worth It?
The SGR gives you the features you'd expect from a pro-style gas range: high-output and simmer-capable burners, a convection gas oven, StayPut hinges, cast-iron grates and a wide range of finishes. It does so at a price positioned well below luxury pro-style brands. The main trade-offs are a manual-clean oven and the need to budget for a properly sized hood. Check current pricing on each product page, and consider a ZLINE appliance package if you're also buying a hood, dishwasher or refrigerator.
The Bottom Line
For cooks who want an all-gas, pro-style range with serious burner range, a roomy convection oven and lots of design choices, the ZLINE SGR is a strong pick at 30, 36 or 48 inches.
