For added convenience, it’s compatible with the MRCOOL® NO-VAC® Quick Connect® line set (sold separately), which eliminates the need for vacuuming or flaring—streamlining installation and saving time. To enhance performance during colder months, the unit also supports optional Universal® Series Heat Kits. These kits provide additional heating capacity and emergency backup heat when needed, boosting efficiency in extreme climates. At the heart of the air handler is an M-shaped evaporator coil with a large surface area that improves airflow and maximizes heat exchange. Made from 100% aluminum, the coil is corrosion-resistant for long-lasting durability.
