MRCOOL Signature 96% AFUE, 90K BTU, 4 Ton, Downflow Gas Furnace - 21" Cabinet (MGD96SE090C4XA)
The MRCOOL® Signature Series Single-Stage 96% AFUE 90K BTU downflow furnace is a quiet running unit that provides excellent heating performance while remaining energy efficient. With low NOx, a 96% AFUE, and a multi-speed high efficiency blower motor, this furnace will ensure savings on your utility costs.
The unit is constructed with an aluminized steel primary heat exchanger that is crimped and non-welded, resulting in a durable build and finish. Ignition is smooth thanks to the aluminized steel inshot burners and long lasting silicon nitride ignitor. The single stage gas valve ensures heating is delivered quickly to your home. In order to ease the installation process, the unit offers left or right utility connections and is design certified for direct and non-direct vent applications. It can be easily vented with PVC pipe and features a compact 33 inch design with standardized widths for an easy coil fit. An optional LP kit is also available if needed. Your HVAC technician will appreciate the easily removable slide out blower design that makes maintenance even easier.
This downflow furnace is backed by a lifetime warranty on the heat exchanger and a 10 year parts warranty.
I needed to replace another unit that a previous contractor didn't do any part of that installation correctly, and the condensation line was leaking inside the house, running down the wall since that installation!! The indoor coil was 1-1/2" out of level, the line set wasn't wrapped, the electrical was tapped into the same circuit as the garage light and outlets...it was a mess.
It took me more time to demo the old unit out than to install the one I bought from you.
Thank you.

Perfect for our needs!
I ordered a 2 zone unit for the bedrooms in our home. It took a few months to arrive (manufacturer issue, nothing to do with HOD, and we were contacted on more than one occasion with an order update which was much appreciated!), but when it did arrive was very easy to install. Both the heat and AC function work perfectly, and our family is very happy!

Decent Company
I ordered a HVAC system and it arrived in a timely manner and with no apparent issues. I thought the system was defective once installed but it was the installers fault who wired it wrong. My only issue would be the fee (30% I believe) to return a defective item within the 30 day return policy. If it is defective the customer shouldn't have to pay a fee to return an item that is not operating as designed. Other than that this is a good company.

Pretty Easy Install and Works Great!
Installed my own central HP system. It was a bit of work but nothing beyond a person with basic mechanical and electrical skills. It took me a while because I had to remove the existing electric forced air furnace from a pretty tight place. Some custom sheet metal work and a bit of custom electrical too. Worked perfectly when powered up and I actually like the thermostat provided, although I wish it was clearer how to set up a temperature set-back schedule. Pre-charged refrigerant piping was something new and I liked that too. The best thing is that my electric utility forked out $4,000 and that paid for the unit!
