Description

The Senville SENDC-36CO is a 3-ton central split heat pump system built for homes that already have a furnace. It pairs a 36,000 BTU Senville inverter heat pump condenser with the SENDC-36CO-B evaporator A-coil, so your existing furnace blower moves the air while the heat pump handles cooling and heating. There is no air handler in this package; the A-coil mounts on your furnace and uses its blower.

The matched condenser and coil are rated at 15.8 SEER2, 10.7 EER2 and 9.4 HSPF2-4 and run on R454B refrigerant. The coil installs horizontally or vertically, uses a durable aluminum coil with a built-in R454B refrigerant sensor, and works with a WiFi-enabled wired controller or a third-party 24V thermostat.

Features

  • Matched Condenser and A-Coil - A 36,000 BTU heat pump condenser paired with the SENDC-36CO-B evaporator coil for installation on an existing furnace.
  • Inverter Variable-Speed Compressor - The twin rotary inverter compressor modulates output across a 13000~47400 cooling range and an 11000~57200 heating range (BTU).
  • Heat Pump Heating and Cooling - Provides year-round comfort, with heat pump operation rated down to -22°F (-30°C).
  • Multi-Position Coil - The A-coil installs in a horizontal or vertical position to fit your furnace layout.
  • Durable Aluminum Coil - Aluminum coil construction built for long service life and easy maintenance.
  • R454B Refrigerant Sensor - The coil includes an advanced R454B refrigerant sensor.
  • Flexible Controls - Supports a WiFi-enabled wired controller or a compatible third-party 24V thermostat.
  • AHRI Certified - The matched system carries an AHRI certificate and EnergyGuide label.
  • Quiet Outdoor Operation - The condenser is rated at 64 dBA.
  • Warranty - Backed by a 10-year compressor and 5-year parts warranty.

Please Note

  • Professional installation is required.
  • This package includes the heat pump condenser and the SENDC-36CO-B evaporator A-coil only. It does not include an air handler or blower; a working furnace or blower unit is required to move air through the coil.
  • Line Set Length option: choose a 16 Ft., 25 Ft. or 50 Ft. line set installation kit. The No Line Set option ships the condenser and coil without a line set, for installers supplying their own.
  • The condenser requires 208/230V, 1Ph, 60Hz power with a 41 A minimum circuit ampacity and 50 A maximum fuse. The coil uses 24V control power.
  • The condenser refrigerant pre-charge covers 25 Ft. of line; longer runs may require additional refrigerant at installation.
  • Efficiency ratings listed are for the condenser matched with the SENDC-36CO-B coil. Supplemental heat is provided by your furnace; no electric heat kit applies to this package.
  • Thermostat or controller requirements should be confirmed with your installer.

Central Split System FAQs

What is a central HVAC system?
A central HVAC system uses a network of ducts to heat and cool your entire home from a single unit. It typically consists of an outdoor condenser (or heat pump) and an indoor air handler connected by refrigerant lines, distributing conditioned air through vents in every room.
What's the difference between a heat pump system and a traditional A/C system?
A heat pump can both heat and cool your home by reversing its refrigerant cycle, making it a year-round solution without a separate furnace. A traditional central A/C system only cools — you'd pair it with a gas furnace or electric air handler for heating. Heat pumps are generally more energy-efficient in moderate climates.
What size central HVAC system do I need?
Sizing depends on your home's square footage, insulation, climate zone, and ceiling height. As a general rule: 1 ton of cooling covers roughly 400–600 sq ft. A 2,000 sq ft home typically needs a 3–4 ton system. Use our live chat to speak with an HVAC specialist who can help you size correctly.
Can I buy a central HVAC system online and install it myself?
You can purchase central HVAC equipment online and save significantly versus buying through a local contractor. However, installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in most states — the refrigerant handling and electrical work require certification. We recommend buying the equipment here and hiring a local installer separately.
What SEER2 rating should I look for?
SEER2 (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio 2) measures cooling efficiency — higher numbers mean lower energy costs. Federal minimums are 14–15 SEER2 depending on your region. For the best long-term savings, look for systems rated 16 SEER2 or higher. Many of our MRCOOL and Senville systems reach 17–18 SEER2.
Does Home Outlet Direct offer financing for central HVAC purchases?
Yes. Financing is available on qualifying orders, making it easier to invest in a high-efficiency central HVAC system without paying everything upfront. See our financing page for details on terms and eligibility.
Do central HVAC systems from Home Outlet Direct come with a warranty?
All systems come with the manufacturer's warranty. We also offer extended warranty and protection plans for added peace of mind. Brands like MRCOOL and Goodman are backed by industry-leading coverage.
