The indoor unit is installed horizontally in a concealed location and connects to field-supplied ductwork, leaving only the supply and return grilles visible in the room.

Professional installation required — horizontal orientation only. This concealed-duct indoor unit cannot be installed vertically. Vertical installation may prevent the system from functioning properly. Installation must follow the approved orientation and instructions in the installation manual. The 50 ft. installation kit also requires additional refrigerant to be added on-site by the installer.

Amazing difference in the space.

This is a great unit for a garage, bedroom or other small spaces. My garage--where I keep a classic Camaro--is 400 square feet. Both the heat and AC functions work beautifully, as does the "dry" feature to regulate humidity.

My only wish was that the thermostat could be set for one temperature (automatic) and that the unit would know if you have to have AC or heat to maintain that temp. As it is, you switch the unit on cool and set a temp OR switch to heat and set a temp. It cannot switch on its own.
