This did not fit the mixer it claimed to fit . Very misleading .

The coffee maker has some features that are mich better than the model I had for ten years. The carafe broke while hand washing it. That was the reason I bought the new version. After using the new one for only 30 days, my house cleaner moved it and the carafe slid off the base and broke. I was very upset because I could not find that Kitchen Aid sold a replacement carafe. I bought one on the internet for $48 and it works but it is not the same and I don’t like it much. Can you send me a real one? Dorothy Rein
