It allows you to transfer network data (Ethernet) and power (PoE) with a simple two-wire cable over long distances. I have installed as main gate access controller. The device is used for gate access via keypad and house call via the ring button. Setup is easy, app driven setup. Works great and love the design. It looks professional versus the other brands made of plastic that look more like toys.
I have been using the Doorbird for about 7 weeks now. The unit comes complete with with cables and miniature connectors for Ethernet, power, lock, doorbell, etc. And snap connectors. Was easy to install and operate.
