The brushed stainless steel filter unit houses quiet, efficient centrifugal blowers. An automatic heat sensor adjusts blowers in high-heat conditions. The press of a button lets you conveniently raise and lower this hood.

• Variable Speed Control Knob: For the most convenient operation, set the blower to your favorite speed. Each time the vent rises, the blower will come on at your previously selected speed, remembering your last setting for ease of use.
• Decorative Mesh Filters: High-quality mesh filters for an improved aesthetic.
• Auto On/Off Feature: Automatically turns on or off when raising or lowering the air vent if control knob is turned on.
• Automatic Heat Sensor: When chimney is up and blower is on or off: if the exhaust temperature becomes higher than expected, the Heat Sentry model will activate and increase the blower speed to high. Lowering the chimney will turn blower off - even if Heat Sentry is active.
• Powerful 500-CFM Blower: The range hood performance is measured in Cubic Feet per Minute (CFM). This is a measure of how much air can be removed from a given space in a single minute.
• Optional Remote Up/Down Control: Optional up/down remote for use with select Zephyr range hoods. The convenient, accessible up/down remote control should be used when your cooktop has a burner that is within 4 inches of the up/down button on the downdraft chimney or can be used for general operation of the downdraft.
